Italic is an online marketplace for brandless and affordable luxury products that aims to disrupt the fashion industry. We are building their platform from the ground up.
Technology
Smooth animations and interactions were created to reflect italic’s luxurious aesthetic. The transitions and parallax were calibrated to compliment the website’s minimalism.
Italic.com is built with Next.js and React.js. The data was synced from Shopify GraphQL Admin API, but since that comes with a threshold limit, we synced it separately to MySQL and Redis.
